Supply Management
The Supply Management Division is responsible for providing centralized purchasing for all civic departments. Tenders, contracts, proposals and consulting services to be processed in accordance with Supply Management By-law 113-2011 of the City of Thunder Bay Municipal Code which governs the procurement of goods and services and disposal of surplus goods.
Highlights
- Purchasing for all departments including Bids Opportunities & Tenders
- Stores including:
- four stores areas providing inventory control and centralized stocking for items common to multiple departments
- two weigh scales for materials invoiced on basis of weight
- seven refueling stations for City vehicles
- Printing & Graphics for in-house needs and other tax-supported organizations.
