For Immediate Release: Information on Upcoming Event - Small Business Showcase

Thunder Bay, ON - Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) and Thunder Bay and District Entrepreneur Centre (EC) present Small Business Showcase during BDC Small Business Week™ on October 22, 2015 at the Victoria Inn, Embassy Ballroom.

Small Business Showcase is a new event designed to improve and develop core communication and networking skills. Under the theme of effective communication, the event begins with a luncheon keynote presented by Barry Spilchuk, speaker and coauthor of A Cup of Chicken Soup for the Soul.  He will later host an interactive workshop and share many strategies on how to grow your business. Valerie Marasco, of City of Thunder Bay Corporate Communications will host the second interactive workshop titled How to Deal with the Media.

From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm the public are invited to attend the free trade show and networking reception, visit exhibits and learn about emerging business start-ups and expansions as they debut their new projects and products.
