"By opening this office, the CEDC is well positioned to achieve its objectives of further building its service capacity and relationships with businesses and thus helping Thunder Bay and region to build a more innovative and sustainable economy," said Steve Demmings, CEO of Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission.

"The opening of this new office also signifies the economic growth and investment potential we see for Thunder Bay," continued Demmings. "We believe that the augmentation of our service capabilities will enable us to build stronger ties with local entrepreneurs, businesses and communities, while providing us with a compelling environment from which to assist national and international corporations who are exploring new business opportunities in the Thunder Bay market," he said.
