| 1915 In the early decades of the 20th century, there was a growing recognition of the importance of outdoor recreation to the health and development of children. With this in mind, both Fort William and Port Arthur developed parks, and organized supervised playground activities for children. The Ogden Playground boys' baseball team, city champions in 1915, are pictured here. |

| 2006 Ogden Community Public School now resides at the corner of Mckenzie and Ogden streets. The Ogden Community Centre, established in 1975, operates out of the shcool, continuing to provide recreation services to the community. |
