The Corporate Information and Technology Division is responsible for evaluating, integrating and supporting innovative technology solutions that enhance the Corporation’s effectiveness and efficiencies in servicing the individual and corporate citizens of Thunder Bay.

Highlights:

  • Provide Information Systems & Technology solutions for the Corporation
  • Develop High-speed corporate network infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain a suite of business systems including:
    • payroll
    • financials
    • water utility billing
    • tax
    • property
    • work orders
    • program registration
    • facility booking
    • and many other systems
  • Develop and maintain geographical applications and the City of Thunder Bay website
  • Protect the integrity and continuity of the Corporation’s data
  • Internal consultant on the efficient use of technology
  • Collaborative Technology Initiatives with outside boards and agencies
