Licensing & Enforcement Division
The Licensing & Enforcement Division is responsible for the enforcement of most Municipal By-laws including the Zoning Bylaw and the Property Standards By-law. This Division also administers the Police Services Board By-laws. This Division receives and reviews applications and related financial reports for business. The City's Animal Services falls within the Licensing & Enforcement Division and provides animal control services in compliance with Municipal By-laws and other legislation. The Animal Services Section encourages responsible pet ownership and participates in community programs to reinforce its mandate.
