The Environment Division is responsible for the delivery of the basic services of Waterworks, Sewage Collection and Treatment and the Storm Sewer Drainage system.
Highlights
- Repair, testing and replacement of the Corporation’s 34,500 water meters
- Sewer and Water Service connections, construction of new water distribution and sewer systems
- Water Pollution Control Plant - Sewage Treatment (Atlantic Avenue)
- Water Treatment Plant (Bare Point)
- Technical services related to water quality and sewage treatment
- All maintenance and repairs associated with storm sewer piping, service covers and catch basins
