2011 Provincial Candidates Answer Key Questions
Thunder Bay City Council asked candidates running in the October 6, 2011 Provincial election to identify their stance on issues important to the City of Thunder Bay and residents.
"City Council wants to know where the candidates stand on the issues that are important to the City of Thunder Bay and ensure members of our community have strong representation on key issues as our community continues to grow and evolve," said Mayor Keith Hobbs.
Chair of the Intergovernmental Committee, Councillor Joe Virdiramo also stated: "The City works very closely with all levels of government and the issues put forward are key priorities to the City, and should come as no surprise to each of the candidates."
Letters were emailed to the eight provincial election candidates for Thunder Bay-Atikokan and Thunder Bay-Superior North on September 23.
