Ontario Human Rights Commission
This is the website for the Ontario Human Rights Commission, which provides information on the Ontario Human Rights Code. This information includes detailed material on the Code grounds and social areas. The Commission focuses on promotion, protection and advancement of human rights. This is done through research, education, targeted legal action and policy development. The Ontario Human Rights system is 3 tiered, the Ontario Human rights Commission, Human Rights and Legal Support Centre, and the Human Rights Tribunal. The Support centre provides legal assistances for someone who has experienced discrimination under the Code. The Human Rights Tribunal is where human rights submissions are filed and decided.
