Setting the Budget is the most important decision Council makes. The Budget is not just about dollars and cents. The Budget directly impacts you, setting the direction for your services and impacting goals for your community.
City Council welcomes input from residents on the 2009 Operating and Capital Budget. Have your say – important budget dates are listed below. Dates are subject to change.

| Feb. 3 - 6:30 pm | Long Term Financial Overview |
| Feb. 11 - 6:30 pm | Public Pre-Budget Consultation Meeting. Share your concerns and suggestions about the Budget. Each speaker will have up to 10 minutes. For more information, contact the Office of the City Clerk at 625-2230 |
| Feb 18, March 3 & March 10 - 5:30 pm |
Council Review of Budget Package |
All meetings will be held at the Community Auditorium and are open to the public. Subject to
completion of the Budget review on March 10, a final Public Budget Consultation Meeting will be
held on March 11.
