City Receives over $10 Million in Infrastructure Funding

August 25, 2008 – The Province announced today that the City of Thunder Bay will receive a $10,384,483 in infrastructure funding as a result of the Investing in Ontario Act 2008.

"This is great news for Thunder Bay," said Mayor Lynn Peterson. "We are very pleased to be receiving these funds. This is a large sum of money and City Council will be carefully examining how to allocate the funds to advance Thunder Bay's infrastructure."
