Garbage Collection Changes for Week of Good Friday

March 26, 2010 – Curbside waste collection will be one day earlier next week due to the Good Friday Holiday.

If your garbage, or garbage and recycling, is normally picked up on Tuesday, it will be collected on Monday for this week only. If your collection day is Wednesday, it will move to Tuesday, and so on. There will be no collection on Good Friday, April 2.  Please put your garbage and recycling out by 7 am on your collection day.

Check your 2010 Waste Collection Schedule for your collection day. Avoid being missed! If you are unsure of your collection day, contact Transportation & Works Dispatch at 684-2195.   

The City of Thunder Bay Solid Waste & Recycling Facility will be closed on Friday, April 2 for the Good Friday Holiday. The site will be open on Saturday, April 3 from 8 am to 4:30 pm and on Monday, April 5 from 8 am to 6:30 pm.
