June 15, 2012 – Community Health care teams will continue working with The Canadian Red Cross to help individuals in need of urgent assistance during the flood recovery.
Mobile health coverage and health services offered at St. Peter’s Church ended on Thursday as community health care providers move to the recovery stage.
“NorWest Community Health Centres have increased staffing in the evenings at our urgent care clinics,” said Patricia Lee, Manager of Allied Health and Community Outreach Services with the NorWest Community Health Centre. “We continue to address the needs of those individuals identified with urgent health related concerns that are registered with the Red Cross.”
Community members are encouraged to resume care with their regular providers, Lee said.
