Main Street Bridge Closed for Water Work

July 21, 2008 – The Main Street Bridge will be closed to through traffic in both directions on Thursday, July 24 while an upgrade is made to the water distribution system. Main Street will be closed between Hammond Avenue and Fort William Road. Traffic will be redirected around the construction area to allow access to local businesses. Please follow the detour signs or take an alternate route. Heavy trucks must use the Central Avenue overpass to access the Pacific Avenue area.

The bridge will remain closed from 8 am until 8 pm, or until work is complete.

Motorists traveling in the Main Street Bridge area are asked to obey the signage and use extra caution as they approach the construction site. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
