OMB Hearing on Waterfront Zoning Set for July

At a pre-hearing teleconference today, the Ontario Municipal Board Chair scheduled the OMB hearing regarding zoning of the waterfront property related to the private sector development for five weeks, starting July 6 and ending Aug. 7.

Park improvements planned in 2009 including the detailed design of public sector amenities and recreational components are consistent with existing zoning. This work is independent of the zoning amendments that are the subject of the OMB hearing.
