Prince Arthur’s Landing at Marina Park: Public Presentation of Development Proposal Sept. 4

August 29, 2008 – The proposal for the private sector development portion of the Master Plan for Prince Arthur's Landing at Marina Park will be presented at a special Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Community Auditorium starting at 7:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public and will also be broadcast on Shaw Cable 10 on Monday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 pm.

The development team, made up of Man-Shield Construction, Laureate Developments, Resolve and the Lombard North Group, will present its proposal to Council for consideration. The proposal was received by the City in June in response to a 'request for proposals' and is comprised of the commercial, residential and hotel components that are to be funded, constructed and operated by the private sector.

Members of the public may schedule deputations to provide feedback on the mixed-use proposal at a future Committee of the Whole meeting by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at 625-2230.
