September 27, 2011 – The City of Thunder Bay is hosting a second Public Information Session on the Transit Master Plan Study, which is currently underway.
The sessions will occur on Tuesday, October 4 from 2-4:30pm and 6:30-9pm at the CLE Coliseum Building - Cardinal Room. The study team has identified a preferred route network plan that responds to the identified service needs.
The meetings will cover:
- the study team’s preferred route network concept
- the proposed planning guidelines and performance targets for transit services
- the proposed short and long term growth strategies
Those requiring accessibility accommodations can leave a voicemail at 684-3474 or email transit@thunderbay.ca. All requests for accommodation must be received by September 29, 2011.
The CLE is serviced by #1 Mainline using Simpson St., #3 Memorial using May St., or #12 East End using Northern Ave. Bus tickets will be provided to those who arrive by Transit at the front desk of the Public Information Session.
A summary report of the presentation materials from the sessions will be available for public review and feedback online from October 4 to 28.
