Notice of Surplus Lands


PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay, at its meeting held on Monday, June 25, 2012  and October 15, 2012, declared the following land and easement interests surplus to the City's requirements:

  • (C160) The City grant an easement over a portion of Lot 11, Registered Plan 712, municipally known as 261 High Street South containing an area of 22.5 m² or 242.19 ft² for utility purposes at the request of Tbaytel;
  • (C161) The City grant an easement interest over a portion of Lot 2, Con 3, Twp of Neebing, Being Part of Parcel 724 SEC CFWF, municipally known as 215 Franklin Street North containing an area of 32.1 m² or 345.52 ft² for utility purposes at the request of Tbaytel;
  • (D45) The City grant an easement over a portion of Lot 1, Registered Plan 109, municipally known as 386 River Street containing an area of 17.88 m² or 192.46 ft² for utility purposes at the request of Tbaytel;
  • (F64) A portion of vacant lands commonly known as the Dawson Road Extension described as Part of Mining Location R3, McIntyre, Designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 55R-8139, containing a site area of 1,966.04 m² or 21,162.28 ft².  The City proposes the land be sold at fair market value to the abutting property owner and conditional upon the development of a plan of subdivision;
  • (G32) The City grant an easement interest over a portion of Block 100, Registered Plan 55M-595, municipally known as 700 Weiler Boulevard containing an area of 34.8 m² or 374.58 ft² for utility purposes at the request of Tbaytel;
  • (G433) The City grant easement over Block 99 and a portion of Block 100, Registered Plan 55M-595, municipally known as 700 & 701 Porcupine Boulevard containing an area of 1,430 m² or 15,393 ft² for utility purposes at the request of Thunder Bay Hydro;
