Notice of Surplus Lands Declared


PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay, at its meeting held on Monday, May 13, 2013, declared surplus to the City's requirements pursuant to the City's policies, the following properties;

  • (E66) The City’s lane between Dewe Avenue and Grenville Avenue, being Part of Lane, Registered Plan 540, Between Lots 80 to 82, containing an area of approximately 123.3m2 or 1,327ft2,  be sold (once closed) to the abutting property owner of 436 Black Bay Road, for lot enlargement purposes at appraised market value ($11,200);
  • (F69) The City’s property located at 3110 Government Road, being Part of Mining Location 29, White’s Survey, containing an area of approximately 9.55 acres or 38,445m2, be sold on the open market at fair market value;
  • (G35) The City’s interest in portions of the lane allowances between Pennington, Bowman and Metcalfe Avenues, described as Parts of Lanes abutting Lots 10 & 11, Block 11, and Lots 11 to 20, inclusive, Block 10, Registered Plan W-185, containing an area of approximately 344m2 or 3,696ft2, be closed and sold to the abutting property owners of 1145, 1149, 1157 and 1165 Rosslyn Road, for lot enlargement purposes at appraised market value;
