City Crews Busy with Snow Removal

January 26, 2009 – The City of Thunder Bay’s Roads Division is working to remove high snow banks at major intersections and widen narrowed four lane arterial roads.

“Unless we need to be plowing, Roads crews will be out there removing the snow to improve driving and visibility on major arterial roads,” says John Husiak, Manager-Roads.

The amount of snow this season is significant and is creating challenges for everyone.  Residents are reminded to take extra care when pulling out of parking lots and driveways onto roadways.
