City Seeks Public Input on Transit Services

March 29, 2011 – The City of Thunder Bay is looking for feedback from both riders and non-riders to help guide the transit services provided by Thunder Bay Transit and HAGI Transit. Your feedback is important and will be used to help develop the City’s future Transit Master Plan.

Thunder Bay residents and businesses are encouraged to attend one of the Open House/Public Meetings scheduled:

Time/date: Wednesday, March 30 – 6-8 pm
Location: City Hall - Lobby

Time/date:  Thursday, March 31 – 6-9 pm
Location: Confederation College, Shuniah Building, Commons Area

At these drop-in sessions, participants will be able to meet with the study team and provide their views on the transit needs of our community and share their thoughts on how Thunder Bay Transit and HAGI Transit services can be improved.

For more information or if you have support or communication needs for these events, email transit@thunderbay.ca, call 684-3474 or visit www.thunderbay.ca/transit.

An online public survey will be available until April 17 on the Thunder Bay Transit website at www.thunderbay.ca/transit. Hard copies of this survey are also available at the City Hall, Thunder Bay Transit office, HAGI office, and public library locations.
