Civic Pride Awards Deadlines Approaching


July 18, 2008 – The City of Thunder Bay wants to recognize those who are beautifying our City and contributing to a high quality of life. Several civic pride award opportunities exist. Don't miss the deadlines to nominate a business or individual that you think deserves an award.

Clean, Green & Beautiful Awards


The deadline to nominate a business or organization who has completed a building or renovation project that has enriched the life of the community through public art, beautification, heritage and environmental greening is Monday, July 21 at 4:30 pm. To make a nomination for the City's new Clean, Green & Beautiful Awards visit www.thunderbay.ca/CGBandproud or contact 625-2741.

The Best City Block Award, sponsored by the City of Thunder Bay and the Kiwanis Club, is accepting nominations until Friday, Aug. 15. This award recognizes beautification and neighbourhood pride of a City block or street. For more information call 625-2313.

Civic Beautification Awards


The City of Thunder Bay, in conjuncti n with the Horticultural Society, recognizes business, industry and homeowner efforts that beautify our City. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, July 31 at 4:30 pm. For more information call 625-2313.
