Disaster Relief Committee Offers Assistance to Complete Claim Forms


August 29, 2012 – The Disaster Relief Committee is working diligently under the Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program guidelines (ODRAP) to meet the community needs of those affected by the May 28, 2012 flood.

The Application for Assistance for Losses and Damages through the Ontario Disaster Relief Program (Blue Form) is due no later than October 31, 2012. 

In order to assist those in the community with completing their forms, the Disaster Relief Office has set up clinics to run on Tuesday nights from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm for the months of September and October.

If you plan on attending one of the clinics, please ensure you bring identification showing your address at the time of the flood (see page 3 of Blue Form) as well as all supporting documentation required to be submitted with your claim.
