Last Chance for Clean, Green & Beautiful Award Nominations

August 13, 2010 – Do you know of a business or organization that is improving the physical environment and the quality of life in our city? The City of Thunder Bay wants to celebrate their efforts. The closing date for nominations is Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.

“The nomination process is easy,” said Mayor Lynn Peterson. “Simply submit the name and contact info of a business or organization who you think is deserving of an award for a Clean, Green & Beautiful building or renovation project.”

The City of Thunder Bay‘s Clean, Green & Beautiful Awards recognize building and renovation projects that enrich the life of the community through public art, beautification, heritage and environmental greening. Together, we can grow and nurture a community of which we can all be proud.

To be eligible for an award, projects must include elements from each of the Clean, Green & Beautiful categories and have been completed within the last two years. The four award levels are Diamond, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Winners will be announced at the 3rd Annual Civic Pride Awards ceremony in September.
