Local Groups Represent Thunder Bay at Upcoming PDAC 2011

March 3, 2011 – Representatives from the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC), Confederation College, Lakehead University, Fort William First Nation and the Chamber of Commerce will join more than 22,000 delegates from all over the world at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange in Toronto from March 6 to 9.

“This is a very important convention,” said Steve Demmings, CEO, CEDC. “In addition to exhibiting in the trade show and having the opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the globe, we will be actively showcasing what Thunder Bay has to offer to the mining industry.”

PDAC has become the most important event in the world of exploration, bringing together a wide-range of players involved in the field from all over the world, dedicated solely to the mineral industry.

The event offers dozens of speakers, a comprehensive technical program, short courses, and forums, offering the industry’s best networking opportunities along with leading edge products, services, and investment opportunities with new companies. It showcased over 1000 exhibitors last year.                            .
