Superior North EMS Gives to College Paramedic Program

February 4, 2009 – In an effort to aid in the development of paramedic student skills, Superior North Emergency Medical Services is donating its used, surplus ambulance equipment and supplies to the Confederation College Paramedic Program.

“This is our way of assisting the local and district college efforts in the ongoing development of paramedic skills,” said Ernie Kadikoff, Manager Eastern Region – SNEMS.  “We are always considering ways to best make use of our surplus equipment and what better way than to assist in the training of up and coming paramedics.”

Various pieces of equipment were handed over today including stretchers, stair chairs and assorted supply items that will be used here at Confederation College’s Thunder Bay campus and outreach campuses across the district. This donation follows a previously donated used ambulance.
