Superior Youth Festival 2010 Line-up Announced

July 26, 2010 – Youth Zone and The City of Thunder Bay have announced another fantastic line-up of live entertainment for the 4th Annual Superior Youth Festival today. This free outdoor concert features  local performers, headlining act “These Kids Wear Crowns” from Chilliwack, BC, and other forms of entertainment throughout the event.  The festival takes place on the Festival Stage at Marina Park on Thursday, July 29 from 6 - 10 pm.

“The Superior Youth Festival is one of Thunder Bay’s newest festivals, now in its fourth year, and is truly unique,” said Jean-Paul De Roover, Superior Youth Festival Coordinator. “We have been working hard to assemble a great line-up for this year’s event, providing a mix of music genres from hip hop to folk, alternative to pop and more.  We’re very excited to be providing some of Thunder Bay’s most promising musical acts with the opportunity to showcase outdoors at the waterfront.”

The stage will come to life July 29, with Artesian Well (rock/funk), The Other Colour (rock), Vega (alternative), The Auditor General (folk) and Webster Death (hip hop) followed by headlining act These Kids Wear Crowns (pop) from Chilliwack, BC.

In addition to great music, the Superior Youth Festival will also feature magic performances by Tyler Biloski of Miracles Await, an acoustic performance by Tom Molkoski, and a contestant in this year’s High School Idol, Melissa Vondrasek.  With Kyle Lees drawing digital portraits, Fun Factor providing inflatable jousting and sumo wrestling, and face painting and crafts tents, there will truly be something for everyone.  On-site concessions, youth oriented community group booths and artisans will add to the festival vibe as well many draws throughout the evening!
