Transit Information Days and Stroller Verification

August 25, 2009 – Thunder Bay Transit will be hosting daily public information sessions at the Water and Brodie Street Terminals Sept. 2 – 5 and Sept. 8 – 12, from 7 – 9:30 am and 3 – 5 pm. Staff will be on hand to provide assistance with questions on transit schedules and trip planning. Drop by to learn about Transit’s easy-to-use bike racks, get tips for riding Transit, and see what new technology Transit is using to make the experience of taking the bus even easier. For customers who use strollers, staff will be available to measure and confirm that strollers meet the Transit size regulations and will provide a validation sticker.

Transit personnel will also be available at the University Agora and Confederation College Shuniah Building bus stops on the same dates from 11am – 4 pm to assist new riders. Staff will provide information on routes and schedules and highlight which routes to take to points of interest in the City.
