Work Impacts Traffic Signals at Red River & Cumberland

July 27, 2011 – The traffic signals at the Red River Road and Cumberland Street intersection are scheduled to be re-built beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 2. The work will result in changes to traffic control, periodic road closures and possible lane closures as construction proceeds. Pedestrian access at the intersection will also be affected.

The traffic signals will be operating on four-way flash beginning on Aug. 2. On Aug. 4, four-way stop signs will be installed. Construction work will commence the week of Aug. 8 and will take six to eight weeks to complete.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan an alternate route when possible. Take extra care in the construction area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
