Golf Links Rd/Junot Ave Improvement Project
The City is proceeding with the preliminary design for the reconstruction of the Golf Links Road/Junot Avenue 
Corridor between the Harbour Expressway and Walkover Street. Increased traffic volumes require additional lane capacity for north/south traffic and turning movements at intersections. The City is proposing the following options to be completed in several stages over the next few years:
- Widening to four-lanes from the Harbour Expressway north to Walkover Street
- Intersection improvements
- Traffic signal implementation at the Central Ave. intersection, and modification to
the signals at the Harbour Expressway intersection - Municipal servicing (water, sewer, and storm drainage) improvements
- New and expanded pedestrian sidewalk corridors
- New bike/recreational trails
- Street lighting
