Multiplex
The Multipurpose Event Centre (Multiplex) is proposed in the City's Renew Thunder Bay Plan as a high priority, major legacy project for the City over the next five years. A Phase 1 Feasibility Study was completed in November 2009 and included two informative reports:

City Council has approved completing a Phase 2 Feasibility Study to be conducted later this year. No other decisions have been made. We want to know the public's views, comments and suggestions on key questions. The first Open House on May 6 was attended by 143 people, the second on May 13 was attended by 171 people.
