Construction Updates 2

The lake in-fill started a few weeks ago, and now it must be held in place by a steel, interlocking sheet wall. The sheet wall is a thick, corrugated steel that is vibrated and driven into the ground. There are 337 vertical sheet wall segments to define the boundary of the lake in-fill.

The upper section of the sheet wall is secured into the in-fill materials with 81 concrete anchor blocks. The average length of vertical sheet wall segments is 40 feet, while each piece interlocks with the previous.
