Prince Arthur’s Landing has transformed the City of Thunder Bay’s waterfront into a mixed-use village and animated waterfront park reconnecting the downtown to the shores of Lake Superior. Since opening in December 2011, Prince Arthur’s Landing has seen record attendance, the opening of several new businesses and 15 awards of excellence and counting.
Thunder Bay’s waterfront development has also been receiving national and international attention with features in over 20 print and online publications including Canadian Architect, World Architecture News, Plan Canada and Designboom.

The Waterfront Development project has received significant financial assistance from the governments of Canada and Ontario under the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund (ISF).
A Walking Tour Guide is available for the public to enjoy the outdoor art gallery that has been created through the many public art installations in the park.
