Civic Pride Awards
The Civic Pride Awards are awarded annually in the Fall in conjunction with the Clean, Green & Beautiful Awards to citizens to make who contribute to Civic Pride in a variety of ways. Below are some of the awards someone you know may be eligible for.
Best City Block Award
The Best City Block Award/Beautify Thunder Bay competition is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Westfort in conjunction with the Parks Division, to promote the beautification of our city and to encourage neighbourhood pride. You are encouraged to participate by nominating a block for an award — enter your own street, if you wish. Awards are presented at the Annual Civic Pride Awards in the Fall.

The Thunder Bay Horticultural Society, in conjunction with the City of Thunder Bay’s Parks Division, recognizes businesses’, industries’ and individual residents’ efforts to beautify our City by planting and maintaining a wide variety of gardens. People of all ages and levels of ability are encouraged to make a submission as we want to recognize efforts that contribute to a beautiful and proud city. Prizes will be awarded at the Annual Civic Pride Awards Ceremony in the Fall to those who have demonstrated excellence in property care.
