12 Strays of Christmas

12 Strays of Christmas starts December 1 and runs for 12 business days. A new stray will be featured daily on social media and our website.

It’s hard to believe that 12 adorable and friendly pets have been abandoned by their owners. You can make a difference by adopting one and making them a part of your family just in time for the holidays.

Our adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 11 am to 5 pm and Saturdays noon to 4 pm. Cat adoption fees are only $50 during this promotion, dog adoption fees are $220 and includes the first set of vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, spay/neuter, 6 weeks of free pet insurance and a lifelong friend.

You can save a life today by adopting a stray!

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...Icicle!

Icicle is a precious little four month female who adores cuddling. She is happiest when she is curled up on your lap purring, and has also been out with some other cats. If you’re interested in proving a forever home for gentle little Icicle, please come down to Animal Services today!

Trixie is energy 2.0 and beyond. She is a bouncy, playful, happy husky that enjoys being the center of attention. Being around one to two years old, Trixie still acts like a puppy.

She will sit for treats, and cuddle up for belly rubs. Trixie’s ideal home would be one that can provide her with the attention and exercise she needs, as well as teach her positive doggy behaviour. If you’re interested in everything Trixie, please come down to Animal Services to see her today!

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...Jack Frost!

Jack Frost is nothing but cuddle goals. This sweet guy will happily lay in your arms and purr with no intention of leaving. Exploring and eating cat treats are other things little Jack Frost enjoys doing; however, nothing, and we mean nothing, beats how much he loves to cuddle. If you are looking for the epitome of a fur baby, come see Jack Frost today!

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...Sam & Pam!

If any of you have ever tried to make a video with cats, you’d know that getting one cat in the shot is a challedge, never mind two cats! So although Sam took center stage in this video, you can see Pam in a clip near the end!

Sam and Pam are a delightful duo that would love a forever home before the holidays. Please come down to Animal Services to see them for yourself; we guarantee you’ll fall in love with all of their feline fluffiness!

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...Cooper!

Cooper, who has been at the shelter since September, has been a very good boy this year, and deserves a loving home for now and forever.

Cooper is around three years old. We know he isn’t a fan of cats and small dogs and he is shy around new people. That being said, Cooper is truly a wonderful dog who enjoys cuddling, belly rubs, giving kisses, playing with his toys and going for walks. We know the right home for Cooper will come along soon!

Wendy has a gentle personality. She enjoys being pet, and purrs while she is getting attention. Similar to most cats, Wendy enjoys exploring the room, followed by a relaxing cat nap.

Poor Walter has been at the shelter since August. We’re hoping this video showcases how wonderful Walter really is.

As you can see, Walter is quite the character. Walter is very affectionate. He loves to be pet and purrs the whole time. He will also follow you around the room and talk when he wants your attention. We absolutely adore Walter, and we hope he finds the loving home he deserves.
