Children & Youth
The City of Thunder Bay has a variety of programs to enhance the lives of children and youth and is committed to the Thunder Bay Children's Charter.
Municipal Child Care
The City operates four Child Care Centres for children aged 18 months to 12 years and a Private Home Day Care program for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, varied hours & days. To learn more about these centres and programs, visit the Children's Services Home Page.AcTivities & Programs
The Recreation & Culture Division offers a wide range of recreation opportunities for children and youth from aquatic activities to playground programs, special events and much more. To find out more, check The Key published four times a year and delivered to city homes.
Thunder Bay Children's Charter
