The Thunder Bay Children's Charter Coalition includes representatives from health, education, social services, and the community at large. A City Councilor is appointed for each term of Council as a member of the Coalition to serve as the Children's Advocate for the City of Thunder Bay. Councillor Joe Virdiramo has served as the Children's Advocate since the City adopted the Children's Charter in June 2004. The City agreed to work with our community to realize the goals and objectives contained in it. Each year, the Coalition produces a report to the community highlighting one of the rights in the Charter.
