Algoma Child Care CentrE
Located near the corner of Red River Road and Algoma, close to the downtown North Core, Algoma Day Care Centre is a large facility with a great playground that doubles as a City Park. The Centre is conveniently located close to such amenities and attractions as Waverley Resource Library, Marina Park and Boulevard Lake.

Grace Remus Child Care Centre
Situated in the Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged, this is a bright, new facility that is close to the College and the University, as well as the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

New! Woodcrest
Located in the new Woodcrest School, Woodcrest Child Care Centre (opposite the turnoff to Creekside Nursery) will provide a seamless day for children who attend this school as well as offering extensive programming for other children. Under the "Best Start" umbrella, Woodcrest will work with the school and the community to provide outstanding service to families.

Ogden Child Care Centre
Ogden Child Care Centre is located downstairs in the Ogden Community School, offering a seamless day for children attending the Day Care and Ogden School. This year, the Centre is offering a new after school program, Falcon Fun Zone through the Ontario “Best Start” program.

Licenced Private Home Child Care Program
Offering the only licensed in-home care in the City under the Day Nurseries Act, the City’s Private Home Child Care program provides care for infants and children up to 12 years of age. Offering flexible hours including evening, weekends and overnight, the homes offer an excellent choice for parents who are looking for a home-like atmosphere. Homes are located throughout the City.
