Playgrounds Program

We are really excited for summer 2018 with you!

Playground Sites are open from 9:30am-4:00pm from July 3, 2018-August 23, 2018.
No pre-registration is needed, you will need to fill out a Participant Information Form on your child's first day on site.

Locations are pending for the week of August 20-23.

The Playgrounds Program is a NUT SAFE program, so please ensure any food you are sending your child with is nut safe.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What do children do in the Playgrounds Program?
Children will enjoy a different theme every day! Days are packed with arts & crafts, sport & games and music & drama. Special guests drop by too! 

Should we bring a lunch? 
Children may return home for lunch or they can bring a NUT SAFE lunch to the park. Supervision between 12 noon and 1 pm is limited to reduced staff. 

What else should we pack?
Bring plenty of water, a NUT SAFE lunch (if the child is not returning home for lunch), a snack, athletic footwear, and a hat. Please make sure the child is wearing sunscreen before visiting the park.

Are staff trained?
All staff is trained in First Aid and the High Five quality assurance program. High Five supports the healthy development of children in recreation and sport.

Youth Move Open House - 10-13 year olds

Thursday, July 19 and Tuesday, August 14

Kinsmen Centre 10:00 – 4:00pm, lunch will be provided - FREE

To register call 625-8463 for one of the days.  

Drop Off/ Pick up
At Kinsmen 9:30 – 10:00 4:00 – 4:30
At Grandview Arena 9:00 – 9:30 4:30 – 5:00 (will be bussed)
