Junior Inclusion Services (J.I.S.)

In order to provide the best experience for children with Special Needs, we require you to contact the Inclusion Coordinator at 625-3220, prior to your child attending the program.

How to Register for SuperKIDS

To register by phone, call 625-8463.

To register in person, visit the Canada Games Complex, Victoriaville Civic Centre, Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre, Volunteer Pool, or Sir Winston Churchill Community Pool. Payment is accepted by cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard.

Cost is $30.00 per child per clinic.  If your child has an allergy, please call 625-2350.

Registration must be completed by 4:30 pm the day prior to the clinic. Limited space available.


Culinary Kids

One day cooking Clinics for SuperKids!  Learn to cook in a fun and safe environment from our trained leaders.

*All Culinary Kids clinics are hosted at the Oliver Road Community Centre.

Recipes will not be duplicated in any of the events.

Tasty Treats:                                               Learn how to make tasty treats that are fun and easy to make at home for your family.

Tentative Recipes: Strawberry Cheesecake Rolls, No Churn Ice Cream, French Bread Pizza Sticks, Tomato Salsa, Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies and Salted Carmel Pretzel Snaps.


July 14

Sensational Snacks:                                 Learn how to create sensational snacks that you can share with your friends.

Tentative Recipes: Pizza Dip, Veggie Dip/Veggie Animal Creations, Taco Pin Wheels, Trail Mix, and Banana Chocolate Chip Granola Bars.


July 19

Fruit Frenzy:                                                Create snacks, salads and desserts that feature fresh fruit.

Tentative Recipes: Strawberry Jam, Fresh Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Crisps, Fruit Infused Water, Fruit Pizza, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, Watermelon Cake and Mandarin Orange Salad with Poppyseed Dressing.


July 21

Breakfast Blitz:                                       Create exciting breakfast recipes that are sure to wake up your taste buds.

Tentative Recipes: Caramelized Apple Slow Cooker Meal, Chocolate Croissant Bake and Breakfast Casserole Muffins.


July 28

Ooey Gooey “Sometimes” Food:       Discover these ooey gooey recipes that are soooo yummy that they should only be eaten sometimes as special treats.

Tentative Recipes: Pink Elephant Popcorn, Honey Chocolate Parfaits, Quesadillas, Monkey Bread and Gooey, Cheesy, Bacon Dip.


July 28

Love Your Lunchbox:                                  Get creative and fill your lunchbox with fun food that will keep you smiling and energized to learn all day.

Tentative Recipes: Golden Oreo Truffles, Ham and Cheese Pockets, Salad, Guacamole and Smoothies.


August 16

Delicious Desserts:                                   Make desserts that are sure to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. 

Tentative Recipes: The Best Brownies, S'More Pie Pops, Waffles, Cinnamon Roll Muffins, Apple Pie Bites and Angel Food Cake Decorating.


Please bring: Nut safe snack, plenty to drink, athletic footwear/attire, sunscreen and hat.

One day, team based athletic challenges to help your child develop both physically and mentally.

Amazing Race: Participants will be challenged both physically and mentally in completing timed events and tasks.

August 9

Survivor Day:           Work as a team to survive the clinic. Dress for the weather. This clinic will be cancelled in the event of rain.

Please bring: Nut safe snack, plenty to drink, athletic footwear/attire, sunscreen and hat.


What does my child bring to the clinic?
Children are required to wear appropriate athletic clothing, including athletic footwear, a hat and sunscreen. Be sure to bring plenty of water/juice, snacks and a healthy, NUT SAFE lunch.

What are the drop off and pick up times for the Clinics:
The drop-off time for all clinics is 9:30 am to 9:45 am.
The pick-up time is 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm. 

Are staff trained?
All staff are trained in First Aid and the High Five quality assurance program. High Five supports the healthy development of children in recreation and sport.Our leaders are skilled and accomplished athletes with many years of experience in sports and supervision.
