P.R.O. Kids Board of Directors

The P.R.O. Kids Board of Directors is responsible for establishing the organization's long-term directions and policies, developing annual objectives and monitoring the progress of the achievement of those objectives. Members are entrusted with the management of the P.R.O. Kids service and maintaining charitable status. Call for membership occurs during the months of April and May.

The P.R.O. Kids Board of Directors is comprised of the offices of Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and a representative from the fundraising committee as well as community members. In order to maintain a balance in perspectives, community members must have experience in one or more of the areas identified in the board composition.

Applications are now being accepted for one vacancy on the PRO Kids Board of Directors.  The term begins September 2012 for two years with the option of renewal for a maximum of six years.  Candidates must possess expertise in at least one of the areas outlined in the board composition.  Applicants must provide a letter of interest along with two references.  Other relevant supporting information is an asset.  Please review attached "Applicant Information" and "Board Role" attachments for more details.  Deadline for applications is June 1, 2012.
