Aboriginal Liaison
The development and implementation of an Aboriginal Liaison Strategy is strategic initiative No. 42 of the 2007-2010 Strategic Plan. This initiative fits within Council’s strategic priority to provide a high quality of life to all citizens. The Aboriginal Liaison will play a lead role in establishing relationships within the City’s growing urban aboriginal community as well as with those organizations, agencies and groups representing and serving the Aboriginal community within the City. The City aims to strengthen its understanding between the Aboriginal community and the municipality.
