Animals

The City's Animal Services section provides shelter, feeding, care and adoption services for stray and homeless pets. The City has adopted by-laws that affect pet owners. All dog and cat owners must license their pets. Annual licences can be obtained from Animal Services, the Licensing & Enforcement Division, cashiers - City Hall, local veterinarians, various pet supply outlets and coming soon - online. Other by-laws deal with running at large, leash, animal waste and noise.
