Campgrounds

campgroundsThe City's Parks & Open Spaces Section operates two campgrounds, at the northeast and southwest ends of the City.

Chippewa Campground, at the city's southwest end, offers 46 RV sites and 16 tent sites, rental log cabins (seven with modern wheelchair accessibility), amusement rides, picnic fields, beach, and hall rentals in the pavilion.

Trowbridge Falls Campground lies in the natural beauty of our northern forest along the Current River, and provides 140 RV-accessible campsites. Trowbridge Campground is connected by a nature trail, pedestrian/bike bridge (over the Current River) and roadway to both Centennial Park and Boulevard Lake Park.

Campgrounds are open seasonally, from the first Friday in June to Labour Day (September long weekend).
