Eye on the Street

EyeStreetThe Eye on the Street Program is a community public safety initiative designed to maintain a safe environment in the downtown cores. Partners in the program include the City of Thunder Bay, The Waterfront District BIA, Simpson Street BIA, Victoria Avenue BIA and TBayTel. Monitoring is solely for safety and security purposes. The Eye Program manages 16 video surveillance cameras in a number of locations in the downtown areas of Thunder Bay. Information collected through video monitoring is used solely for security and law enforcement purposes and released in accordance with the standards of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
