Maps - Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The Planning Division maintatins all of the City's base mapping and aerial photography. Zoning and Official Plan maps are available as well as maps detailing property boundaries, streets, and topographical features. Aerial photography mosaics can be produced and staff can determine the boundaries of the Environmental Protection Zone on individual properties. Large City Maps and detailed Ward Maps can be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk or from the Planning Division for a cost of $15 plus GST.
Thunder Bay Transit provides pocket route maps for bus routes and an overall route map with schedules, fares and other information.
Maps of sewer and water locations, the results of traffic studies, and designated snowmobiling areas are available at the Engineering Division.
