Permits

Building & Plumbing

Permits are required from the City for the construction of Buildings and Structures, the Change of Use of a Building, the Demolition of a Building or Structure, Plumbing, Renovations, and Swimming Pool Fences. A permit must be obtained before starting any work. Application forms and brochures are available from the Building Division.

Permit applications involving designated buildings are referred to the Heritage Advisory Committee for review. To check if your building is designated contact the Building Division.
