Property Standards

The Licensing & Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing property maintenance standards under the Property Standards By-law. For example: yards must be kept clean; driveways and walkways must be kept in good condition; routes of public access must be kept safe; buildings and structures must be structurally sound and kept in good repair. Licensing & Enforcement Officers will investigate complaints regarding the condition of properties and take appropriate action to gain compliance with the applicable standards.
