Cultural Policy

In February 2005 Thunder Bay City Council adopted the new Cultural Policy replacing the former Arts & Heritage Policy of 1991, 1998.

The Policy Directions provide the framework to support the goals of the City of Thunder Bay and ensure that Thunder Bay residents benefit from the City's support of, and investment in, the cultural community.

Cultural Services of the Recreation & Culture Division is responsible for the implementation of the Policy working with a Cultural Services Advisory Committee, Public Art Committee and a Grant Review Team.
