The Go Green EXPO is aimed at helping citizens in the region learn useful and practical “tips for living green everyday.” We aim to attract families, friends, and visitors to learn about green initiatives and locally available products and services, check out the latest renewable and clean energy technologies, watch demonstrations, and enjoy the eco-friendly, hands-on children’s activities.
The Go Green Expo will feature a tradeshow and Lunch ‘N Learn showcasing local foods. Joing keynote speaker Charles Campbell to learn about the "State of the Climate." Charles has trained with Al Gore and The Climate Project and delivers a engaging informative talk about climate change. Sweet Peas Catering will be serving up local slow-braised pulled boar sandwiches and veggie BLTs for the vegetarians, along with a fall salad, carrot cake, coffee and tea for $20. Tickets are available on site Saturday.
This Litter Free/Green event will be part of the CLE Fall into Winter Show at the Sports Dome, which offers three days of exhibits on indoor living and outdoor fun! The Expo promises to offer something for everyone who is making changes both big and small to reduce their carbon footprint and help the environment. We hope to see you there!
